Introduction, tips and explanations
Advice on the order to play of the various Routes: there is not much to write here because only Root A and B are available from the beginning. It is recommended to start with Root A and continue with Root B after seeing the normal and good ending (and obtained the flags of the epilogue of Kazami, Jun and Ena).
You can play the Xtend episode in any order you like, just make sure the Natsuhiko Tenkawa episode is the last.
The number behind a character's name is the value of their bar in the Senses Sympathy System. The indicator starts at 0 (MIN) and ends at 8 (MAX). Most of the time you will need to change the value to 1, 4 or 7 but there are some exceptions.
Once you have reached the successful end of a path, it will unlock the answer mode. Answer mode makes it easier to understand the Senses Sympathy system and its values by showing you all possible answers. We included it in the guide right before each choice such as [A1] (Answer 1), [A2] (Answer 2) and so on.
The blue choices of the Senses Sympathy system often influence a female character's favor. To avoid getting stuck on a bad course, try to increase the favor of all characters.
Each change is listed in the guide immediately after the choices. For example: (Yu +1) means that Yuuri's favor has increased by 1 while (Yu -1) means that it has decreased by 1.
Epilogue Flag: To see the bonus episodes of all the girls in the Grand Ending of Root Double, you must first get their epilogue flag. Kazami's flag can be obtained by reaching the good ending of root A, but Jun and Ena's flag need an extra match. They are listed in the guide sotto Root A Clean Up.
The Root B Epilogue Flags (Mashiro, Salyu and Yuuri) can be activated in a single match if you do everything right. It is recommended that you focus on getting all the epilogue flags before starting Root D..
You will unlock most of the achievements (if you play the steam version) by following the guide. All hints, CGs, and scene titles unlock once the Xtend episode is over.
In the guide you will find written "save" and "load", these are the points where you save the game and come back later for bad endings and the like. If you open the save menu, you will see many free save slots.
If the guide mentions “save 1”, save in the first slot just before the decision point arises. After seeing the bad ending, load “save 1” to start again just before the decision point.
In the next step, save the game in slot 2 and so on. This is to save time in getting all the endings and to have the saves ready to come back to later. It is also possible to work with quick saves, but it is much more complicated if something is wrong.
