Hearthfire - Guide and Complete Solution !

While PS3 owners are still desperate for the missed release of Dawnguard, the first DLC of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim we, here in the editorial office, have already put our hand to the new DLC - Hearthfire - to provide you, as usual, in a very short time the complete solution guide!

First of all, as soon as you have downloaded the additional pack and started the game you will suddenly see a messenger who will deliver a letter. CONSIDER ADOPTION, you will find it in your menu among the books. Open the letter and...

WE NEED YOU

In these times of war and pain, Skyrim's orphans are the real victims.
Many of them have lost loved ones and a life of hard work, poverty and misery awaits them.
If you have a chance to provide a stable home for one of these innocent children, consider adoption.
Whether you choose to adopt one of our babies or someone closer to you, remember that you will always save a child's life.

After reading the letter you will activate the mission marker that will take you to the orphanage in Honorhall, Riften. Go into the orphanage and talk to the headmistress and ask her if you can adopt one of the children. After you undergo a luuuuunghissimo interrogation she will find that:

  • - you own a house but you don't have a room for the baby.
  • - you don't have a home
  • - If you have a house but do not have a room for the child, simply go to the Jarl residence in the city where you have a house and ask the boy in charge of "real estate affairs" to replace the alchemical laboratory with the room for the child. Once you have done this, go back to Riften to the director of the orphanage and choose which of the children to take for adoption.
Hearthfire What's that got to do with anything!?!? First of all, you have adopted a child and you have changed the furniture of your house, which was impossible before, but to get into the heart of the DLC you will have to go to the Jarl's residence in one of the cities where you have not yet bought a house, talk to the boy who is in charge of the "real estate business" and ask him if he wants to buy a house. At this point he will tell you that there are no houses available but that he can sell you a piece of land to build on...accept the proposal and start your adventure in Hearthfire .

    - If, on the other hand, you don't have a house, you will have to go to the Jarl's residence in one of the cities you prefer, talk to the guy who is in charge of the "real estate business" and ask him if he wants to buy a house. At this point he will tell you that there are no houses available but that he can sell you a piece of land to build on...accept the proposal and start your adventure in Hearthfire .

I personally decided to go to Dawnstar's Jarl, his "henchman" offered me a plot of land south of the city near the Rest of Time. Once his proposal is accepted, the mission marker will activate and lead you to your land, there you will find a DRAWING TABLE, a CARPENTRY BANK, a BAULE and an INCUDINE.

Use the drawing board to start building the house and from there you will activate the "Buy Wood" mission. Looking around, however, you will discover that you already have wood, so go back to the drawing board and use the SMALL HOUSE SCHEME, from there you will activate the mission "USA BANCO CARPENER TO BUILD YOUR HOUSE'S FOUNDAMEN". On the carpenter's bench you will find the GUIDE TO THE BEGINNER LATHIFONDIST, browse through it to discover all the secrets of the builder...

"To build your house you will need various building materials but you don't need to have everything right away. The most common materials you will need are logs cut from stone and clay. Fortunately, most places where you decide to build have accessible sources of stone and clay. When it comes to wood, the owner of a sawmill will be happy to sell and deliver all the logs you want. You'll need a lot of nails, luckily even an inexperienced blacksmith can turn the raw iron into as many nails as you want. To furnish your house you will need various materials such as straw and glass that can be purchased from most stores. For the rest, your trusted shop is the entire Skyrim."

WE START BUILDING OUR LITTLE HOUSE...
It's the perfect house for those who start, eventually you can expand it as you like!

    FUNDAMENT

To build the foundation of your house you'll have to use the Carpenter's Bench. You will find that you need 1 cut log and 10 stones extracted. This first step shouldn't be too difficult, there are already 20 logs available in your inventory and you can take the extracted stones in the trunk.

    WALL STRUCTURE

To build the wall structure you need 6 cut logs and 10 nails. Again, nothing too complicated, you already have the trunks while, for the nails, you just need to take the iron ingot in the trunk and create the nails with the anvil. Each ingot will allow you to create 10 nails.

    WALLS

To build the walls you need 2 cut logs, 8 nails and 4 pieces of clay. Again, everything you need is already in your inventory/baule!

    ROOF STRUCTURE

To build the roof structure you need 6 cut logs, which are also still available in your basic construction inventory.

    FLOOR

To build the floor you need 4 extracted stones, which can be placed in your trunk.

    ROOF

To build the roof you will need 10 nails and a cut log, all material still available in your inventory.

    DOOR

To build the door you will need hardware, a cut log, a lock, 2 hinges and 2 nails. And for the moment everything is still available in your inventory.

At this point you have completed the first part of your house, you can devote yourself to building the exterior or you can start furnishing it. Inside the house in fact you will find a workbench to build the furnishings.

    ARMORER'S WORKBENCH

To build the armorer's bench you need 2 extracted stones, 1 ingot of iron and 1 cut log.

    CROGIOLO

To build the crucible you need 2 ironware, 5 ingots of iron, 6 pieces of clay and 4 extracted stones.

    GARDEN

To build the garden you need 1 cut log.

    MOLA

To build the grindstone you will need 1 extracted stone, 1 cut log and the hardware.

    CORRAL

In order to build the animal enclosure you need 1 cut log

    SEGHERIA

To build the sawmill you need 2 extracted stones, 2 cut logs and 2 fittings

    STALLA

To build the barn you will need 3 cut logs and 5 nails

Once the exterior has been completed, we can decide to expand our house or start furnishing it.
